New Zealand was named 'God's Own Country' and 'Paradise of the Pacific' as far back as the early 1800s with good reason. The native Maori people called New Zealand, Aotearoa -  translated as "The Land of the Long White Cloud".

Comparable in size and/or shape to Great Britain, Colorado, or Japan, New Zealand has a population of only 4 million - making it one of the world's least crowded countries. New Zealand consists of the two main North and South islands and a number of smaller ones. It is a haven for those seeking peace, rejuvenation and relaxation as well as a playground for thrill seekers and adventurers. A temperate climate with relatively small seasonal variation makes it an ideal year-round holiday destination.

New Zealand might very well be the best place on earth!
